Chris Rankin brings more than 25 years of experience across stage, screen and live production to community theatre companies looking to make their productions stronger, smarter and more ambitious.

His professional production experience spans major television productions and companies including Bad Wolf, BBC, FOX and Carnival, he has also toured Europe with The Magical Music of Harry Potter. His career began at 16 when he was cast as Percy Weasley in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, a role he played for more than a decade.

Chris continues to work as a professional actor and performer, alongside his work as a producer, director, creative and production consultant, helping volunteer-led theatre companies with the practical realities of putting on a show — from planning and budgeting to creative development, team structures and technical delivery.

Today, Chris is Lead Producer and Chair of Brecon Little Theatre, giving him first-hand experience of delivering ambitious productions with volunteers, community performers and finite resources.

Alongside his theatre and production work, Chris continues to work at conventions and events around the world and supports charitable initiatives, particularly in community theatre and LGBTQ+ organisations.
